Happy Hump Day!

Let me first start out by saying that it’s been kind of a long week for me. Nothing major going on, I just haven’t really been sleeping well lately. Does this happen to anyone else? Even though I’m completely exhausted, I still toss and turn all night and it seems like I’m wide awake… until my alarm goes off in the morning, that is. IT’S THE WORST. I’m hoping to get to bed early tonight and catch up on some sleep! I’ve also recently started watching The Crown on Netflix after years of hearing everyone rave about it. Has anyone else watched it? I’m only on episode three, but I’m loving it so far. Maybe I’ll try to sneak in a few episodes of that tonight, too.

Until then, I’m hopping on here to quickly chat about my love for Free People, and for bold and bright tops such as the one pictured above. I am obsessed with how fun the colors are, and how lightweight the fabric is. It’s a little chilly to wear this top by itself in Charlotte right now, but I love how versatile it is and how it can be styled so differently. When I wore this outfit, I added a black leather jacket at night when the temperature dropped. I also added a black bandeau underneath, because the top is a bit see-thru. Once it warms up a little, I’ll probably pair this with a cute pair of light-wash flared jeans or denim shorts! So cute, and the perfect top to wear right now since we’re in that awkward “transitional” phase and no one is sure if they should pack up their winter stuff or not yet. Side note: it comes in other colors, too!
