I’ve always had a love for the color turquoise. Ever since I can remember, even waaaay back in high school and middle school, I was obsessed with the color and loved the way it looked when paired with certain outfits. Over time, though, I kind of fell off the turquoise train and gravitated more toward neutral colored jewelry. I’ve fallen into the habit of wearing the same good hoops almost every single day.
Recently, when shopping for my upcoming Phoenix trip (….have I mentioned I’m going to Phoenix?), I came across countless pairs of adorable turquoise earrings and fell back in love with the color. Turquoise looks great on any skin tone, and with any hair color. It looks SO pretty in the summertime with glowing skin and makes me feel like I’m somewhere tropical whenever I’m wearing it (or at least, like I should be somewhere tropical).

The one I’m wearing was a Forever 21 steal, and luckily I’ve found similar price points to link to. This outfit is so versatile that you can really pair it with any bottoms of your choice. I decided to keep it simple and go with some distressed denim shorts. White jeans would be adorable for an all white look to really make the earrings pop, or plain denim works just fine as well.
