Visiting Las Vegas soon? I took a trip to Las Vegas a few weeks ago and I’m rounding up all of my favorite spots you need to visit the next time you visit the Sin City! Keep reading below to check out my Las Vegas Travel Guide.
Where to stay
Honestly… ANYWHERE ON/NEAR THE STRIP would be a great place to stay, but here are my top recs:
- The Venetian. I stayed here in 2018 and it was beautiful.
- Cosmopolitan
- Club Wyndham Grand Desert off the strip. Our rooms were huge and it was only a 5 minute Uber to the strip.
- Bellagio
- ARIA
Where to eat
Of course, my family and I were only in town for 3 days, so we couldn’t possibly have eaten at every restaurant. However, I was given a TON of restaurant recs before my trip, so I figured it would be helpful to compile them all in one place here:
- Carmines (located inside Caesars Palace). We ate here on our first night and it was amazing.
- Black Tap
- TACO BELL. Yes, you read that right. There is a huge Taco Bell on the strip that serves alcohol. You’re welcome.
- Yellowtail
- Beauty and Essex
- Mayfair Supper Club
- Catch
- Mon Ami Gabi
- Lavo
- Carbone
- Zuma
- STK
- Jean George
- Jaleo
- Nacho Daddy
- Hells Kitchen
- Beer Park
- Piero’s
- Joe Stonecrab
Things to see/do
- The High Roller Ferris wheel with a bartender! SO MUCH FUN and such amazing views.
- Drag Brunch at Senor Frogs. This was definitely one of my favorite parts of our trip.
- Freemont Street aka Old Vegas
- Pool day/cabana. This was SO FUN and I highly recommend it, especially if you’re traveling with a group of people. It ends up being more affordable to split the cabana and order bottle service than it is to order multiple drinks separately. We chose to spend our pool day at Caesars Palace and it was amazing. It was calm, and not too crazy, which was exactly what we wanted!
- Chandelier Bar in the Cosmopolitan and get the “secret drink” on the menu (it’s called “Verbena”) Warning: it will make your tongue super numb/tingly for about 10 minutes!
- See a show. While we didn’t see any other shows aside from the Drag Brunch, I highly recommend seeing a show while you’re in Vegas. I saw Britney perform at Planet Hollywood back in 2018 and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
- Visit the “WELCOME TO VEGAS” sign, but be prepared to stand in a looooong line (unless you want to take a photo on the side, like we did).
My Outfits
Below, I’m linking everything I wore in Vegas, plus some other things I ordered/brought on the trip but didn’t have time to wear!
