Hi, friends! I can’t believe it’s already October. Halloween is right around the corner, and it’ll be here before you know it. Costumes tend to get expensive when you buy them at party stores, so if you’re wanting to save some money this holiday season, you’re in luck! It’s SO easy to create a budget friendly Halloween costume. Need some ideas? No worries, I’ve got you covered. Check out 6 budget friendly Halloween costume ideas below. Enjoy!

What you’ll need:
- Grey wig or baby powder for hair
- Nightgown or dress (mine was $5 from Goodwill)
- White shoes (also $5 from goodwill, or you could use ballet flats if you already have them)
- Beige tights (I believe these are $1 at Walmart)
- White socks to scrunch down around your ankles
- Cardigan
- Glasses (also $1 at Walmart)
Makeup tutorial:
Costume: KISS
What you’ll need:
- Black wig or black hair spray (can get this at any party store)
- All black clothing! I’m sure there are more intense KISS costumes on the internet, but my friends and I just wore clothing we already had and it still looked amazing.
- White and black face paint
- Red/black lipstick
- Any black or silver jewelry you already have!

Costume: Skeletons
What you’ll need:
- We purchased skeleton outfits from a party store. If you don’t have time to run out and buy a costume, simply just wear all black clothing you already own.
- Black and white face paint
- Hair spray and comb to tease hair
Makeup tutorial:

- Denim
- Converse/any comfortable shoes
- Graphic tees (we purchased these from Hot Topic)

Makeup: just smudge Smokey eye liner/black eye shadow all around your eyes. Add black lipstick and call it a day!
Costume: Sandy from Grease
What you’ll need:
- All black clothing. Once again, I’m sure there are expensive and intense Sandy costumes sold at party stores, but I’ve always just worn clothing I already own

- Black tank top or off the shoulder top
- Red heels
