Ahhh, Music City. If it’s not already on your bucket list, I highly suggest adding it it as soon as possible. Nashville is a city unlike any other. It’s absolutely THRIVING at all times, and from what I’ve experienced, it’s impossible to be in a bad mood when you’re there. Of course, I’ve only ever done touristy things, so local Nashvillians might not say the same. But for me, it’s one of my favorite cities I’ve been to in the US.
Before this trip, I had only been to Nashville once prior. I went my senior year of college when Auburn played Vanderbilt. I thought it was a quick trip back then – ha! Jokes on me. This past trip somehow managed to be even shorter! I was only in Nashville for a little over 24 hours. The best part? There’s so much to do, that I was able to squeeze in a good amount of activity in those 24 hours. There are still so many things I haven’t done – so I guess that just means I need to go back!
I arrived to Music City on a Thursday afternoon. I landed at the airport around the same time as my friend Anna, (@life.and.lattes) so we shared an Uber to our Domio together. The Domio was provided by The Pink Lily Boutique and it was soooo cute! I shared a long tour of our Domio house that can be found on my Instagram highlights. Once we were all checked into the house, we realized we were all starving from traveling, so we headed out to lunch.
We headed straight for Bartaco, and it did not disappoint. Those margs are SO delicious. I may or may not have had two of them. Why have I never experienced the margaritas at Bartaco before?! I loved them so much that I even asked the manager when Charlotte was getting a Bartaco. He said, from what he’s heard, Charlotte is “on the list”. So CHARLOTTE FRIENDS, it looks like we might be getting a Bartaco of our own!
After lunch, we headed back to the house to get ready for the launch party later that night. We had a few hours to kill, so a few of us took that time to shoot some content up on the rooftop of the house. Have I mentioned how cute the rooftop was?! We enjoyed some rose and hung out for a bit before it was time to change for the event.
Before we knew it, it was time to to head to the event. The Pink Lily Fall Launch Party was held at The Cordelle which was such a beautiful venue. The space was decorated so perfectly, and they served delicious food and drinks. On top of the gorgeous decor, I was able to meet and mingle with so many girls who I had previously only known through Instagram. It’s so fun to finally be able to meet these girls in real life!
In addition to meeting fellow bloggers in person, it was also amazing to meet the Pink Lily Team and to be a part of their fall launch. This company is run by such an amazing group of women, and I felt so lucky to have been a part of the fall launch! We were given the most adorable goodie bags on our way out of the event. You can shop everything that was in my goodie bag here:
After the event, we went back to the house to change before going out on Broadway. We were all so tired of wearing heels that we all changed into much comfier clothes. Personally, I changed into jean shorts, a black T-shirt, and Tory Burch sandals (LOL). Doesn’t get much more casual than that, and I don’t regret it one bit. We danced and sang along front row in one of the country bars, and I wouldn’t have been able to do that if my feet had been killing me! 10/10 recommend dressing in comfortable clothes if you’re going to go out on Broadway.
Here are some of the bars I recommend going to for a fun night out on Broadway:
- Tootsies Orchid Lounge
- The Stage on Broadway
- Dierks Bentleys Whiskey Row
- Tin Roof
- Honkey Tonk Central
- FGL House
- Downtown Sporting Club
The next morning, a few of us had brunch at Liberty Common. It was one of the cutest brunch spots I’ve ever been to – and trust me, I’ve been to a LOT of brunch places (LOL). If you are visiting Nashville, I highly recommend stopping by here for a bite to eat! There were two Bachelorette parties inside, so you know it’s good.
And there you have it! All the activities that I somehow manages to jam into less than 24 hours spent in Music City. Do you have any upcoming Nashville travel plans? If so, I hope this blog post helps give you some ideas when hitting the town in Nashville. What are some other must-see spots in Nash? Let me know in the comments below!
