Recently, I wrote a blog post detailing out every product I use when creating a Holiday Glam makeup/hair look. If you haven’t read that post yet, be sure to check it out here! After filming the more glamorous look, I realized the majority of the questions I get regarding my beauty routine are mostly about what I use on a daily basis – not just what I use to get glammed up for special events.
Here are the products I use on a daily basis, and the order in which I use them. All of these products are absolutely incredible, and I’ve used most of them for years. Enjoy!
- First, I brush out my eyebrows using Precisely, My Brow. Then, I fill them in using Gimme Brow, which is my absolute favorite gel brow product.
- Next, I curl my eye lashes with this lash curler, and prime my eyelids with my favorite eyelid primer from Urban Decay.
- I always start with eye shadow. Every single day, regardless of where I’m going, I use “Naked” as my eye shadow base color. Using windshield wiper motions with this Lancome brush, I blend this light brown shade all over my eyelids.
- Using this Sigma brush, I use shade “Buck” on the outer corners of my eye lids.
- Using the shade “Virgin”, I highlight my brow bone.
- To line my eyes, I don’t like a hard black liner. Usually, I just use a dark brown eye shadow (shade “dark horse”) to line my eyes with an eyeliner brush. The look is much softer for daytime/everyday wear.
- Using a beautyblender, I blend my favorite buildable foundation onto my face and neck.
- Next, I use my favorite NARS concealer. I place this concealer under my eyes, on my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, and on my cupids bow. Using the skinny side of the beautyblender, I blend the concealer into my foundation.
- In order to set the concealer and foundation, I use this Lancome brush to bake the concealer into my skin so it doesn’t move throughout the day using this setting powder.
- While that powder bakes into the concealer, I blend some shadow in the shade “Buck” (used earlier) along my lower lash line using this MAC pencil brush.
- Using a fluffy bronzer brush, I blend some Hoola bronzer onto my skin. I use this bronzer to contour my jawline, my cheeks, my hairline, and my nose. I use this contour brush to get a precise line along my nose.
- For blush, I am a huge fan of Laura Geller. My favorite shade of blush is this Pink Buttercream, which is a gorgeous pink shade that’s flattering on any skin tone. I blend the blush onto my cheeks using this Sigma brush.
- On top of the blush, I use a fan brush to highlight my cheeks with my favorite highlighter by Becca Cosmetics in shade “Champagne Pop”.
- I then apply two of three coats of the best mascara I’ve ever tried – “Better Than Sex” by Too Faced. I then apply one coat to my bottom lashes.
- To finish off my makeup look, I apply NYX Cosmetics lip lingerie in “push-up”, and apply “soft-spoken” over top of that.
Moving on to my hair!
- I first prep my hair (while it’s still damp) using Restore Perfecting Spray by Living Proof.
- Once my hair is dried, I begin curling with my favorite T3 iron.
- To finish off my hair, I lightly spray with Tresemme hair spray. Once the hair spray is dried, I brush out my curls.
