Haaaaaappy Wednesday, fam. Here begins the start of my vacation series. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with all things that scream “summer”. This is partly because 1. We had the most freezing Spring we’ve had in forever (no, seriously… this spring was the coldest spring Charlotte has had since 1940-something. Insane!) and 2. I’ve been preparing to go on a trip to Phoenix that I am sooo excited about! As most of you know, because I talk about it nonstop, one of my best friends from growing up is getting married. Her bachelorette party is this weekend in Phoenix, which means I get to spend all weekend with my absolute best friends. What could be more fun than that? Oddly enough, I’ve actually never been on a bachelorette party. Isn’t that weird?! You’d think that by age 26, I’d have been on quite a few by now.. but for whatever reason, previous trips haven’t worked out and I haven’t been able to make it to other bachelorette parties. Until now! #PUMPED
Since I booked this flight to Phoenix about four months back, I’ve constantly been on the lookout for “Arizona clothes”. Keep in mind that I’ve never been to the state of Arizona…. therefore, I technically have absolutely no idea what “Arizona clothes” look like. However, I do know what “vacation clothes” look like, and I’m technically going on a vacation. So, there you go. #VacationVibes. I’ve naturally been gravitating towards lots of fringe, bright colored jewelry, straw bags, cute sunnies, crop tops, and denim/chambray.
It’s no secret that I am HUGE fan of chambray. Chambray was a major trend this spring, and I don’t see it going anywhere any time soon! I picked up this adorable little romper from Vestique a couple months ago. Unfortunately, it looks like it’s sold out right now, but luckily there are a ton of chambray rompers that are equally as cute. My earrings are also adorable, and I’m obsessed with yellow this season. I’ve seen my exact earrings on other retailers sites for almost three times the price I paid for them. I scored them for only $5! Yes, you read that correctly. Grab a pair for yourself ASAP!
Anyone else have any fun MDW plans? Let me know!
